about the image: An image i created to enter in the Vancouver Status of Women's Single Mother's Resource Guide image contest. The theme of the contest was on "mothers & mothering". I decided to create a design about our blessed earth mother. It didn't win the cover but was chosen for an inside page in black & white. It is also a part of the BC Coalition of People with Disabilities 2007 limited edition calendar for the month of November.
