about the image: In 1994 i was approached by Herizon's Magazine in Winnipeg, Manitoba to design an original t-shirt image for them to fundraise for their Feminist Magazine.

They wanted a design that would depict the Feminist-Women-focused quality content of the well-known Canadian Prairie monthly magazine periodical.

The three "prairie" women represent the three stages of a woman's life - the maiden, mother and crone... and all colours/races of women. Of course, "they're" reading the magazine, Herizons - and also visioning and dreaming a positive future for all women - a new horizon and fresh growth of feminism.
