about the image: Dugg Simpson, Artistic Director of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society had seen my work elsewhere and asked me to design a shirt for the festival in 1997. I think being a musician myself is why this image came very quickly for me. Making the connection that all music invariably always comes from source, from the depth of who we truly are... and that "music makes us one". This design was very successful for the Festival and they re-printed it again the following year.
