about the image: Dugg Simpson, Artistic Director of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society had seen my work elsewhere and asked me to design a shirt for the festival in 1997.

I believe being a musician myself is why this image came very quickly for me. Making the connection that all music invariably always comes from source, from the depth of who we truly are... and that "music makes us one" breaking barriers.

This design was very successful by selling very well for the Festival and they re-printed it again and sold it the following year.
